 Learn More About The Tampa Housing Authority Programs

  • Community and Supportive Services (CSS) Case Management Program

    The Community and Supportive Services (CSS) Program Case Management program provides referrals and assistance to the former residents who lived at Central Park Village and current ENCORE residents, as part of the Encore Choice Neighborhood Initiative.

  • Village Link Up

    Following the thinking that "It takes a Village to raise a child", the Housing Authority has created the "Village Link Up" support program to provide supportive services, parent engagement learning opportunities, and interventions for at-risk elementary aged children and their families residing on the Robles Park Village public housing development.

  • Youth and Family Services

    The THA Youth and Family Services (CINS/FINS) program has professional, degreed and caring counselors. This program provides counseling and case management services to work with the family unit, not just with the identified client. Youth and Family Services offers incentives for youth to encourage permanent change. Additional assistance can be found by collaborating with over thirty (30) agencies to help meet family needs.

  • Jobs Plus Initiative

    The Jobs Plus program is a 4-year grant provided by HUD to support job development, training, employment, supportive services, income incentives and community support for residents of the Robles Park Village development. The purpose of the Jobs Plus Initiative program is to develop job-driven approaches to increase earnings and advance employment outcomes through work readiness, employer linkages, job placement, educational advancement technology skills, and financial literacy for residents.

  • YouthBuild

    The THA YouthBuild Program is an initiative with the primary purpose of establishing employable job skills for at-risk and high school dropouts, ages 16-24. The Tampa Housing Authority is partnering with YouthBuild USA, which will assist in the administration of the Construction training of THA participants. The YouthBuild USA program is comprised of five (5) components: Leadership, Education, Case Management, Construction Training, and Career Development.

  • Neighborhood Networks Center

    The Neighborhood Networks Center provides an after-school program activity for youth as well as, programs providing job preparation activities for adults and youth; these programs consist of the; After-school Tutorial Program, Summer Youth Program, Basic Computer Literacy Training, ABE/GED Classes, Basic Microsoft Office Instructions, Life Skills, Job Search, and Dress for Success. All programs are connected to the Tampa Bay Workforce Alliance Programs.

  • On-Site Case Management

    On-site Case Management services, referrals, relocation assistance and resources are provided to public housing residents daily. On-site case management specifically include Robles Park, Central Park Village and North Boulevard Homes. Programs and services include Job Training and Placement Programs, supportive services (child care, transportation, etc.) and frequent home visits that provide one-on-one case management services.

  • Job Development and Placement Program

    The Job Development and Placement Program (JDPP) will provide direct services by partnering with a variety of community-based agencies, schools, and other non-profit organizations to provide employment training, education services, and job placement services to residents. Job/Service Fairs are provided to residents on a quarterly basis in order to make services accessible for residents and to assist residents with job search and support services.
