Parent Legal Aid Assistance Grant
APPLICATION COMING SOON!
Our Children Have Rights.Org has a goal to award $100,000 in Parent Legal AID Assistance in 2022.
The Parent Legal AID Assistance Grant, an Our Children Have Rights.Org fund, is designed to support a parent with a child(ren), who is incurring legal costs during the process of protecting their child’s right to have access to them as a parent, while striving to be a responsible parent working towards successful co-parenting strategies that are focused on the best interest of the child.
The expense of protecting a child’s right to have access to a parent is one of the main obstacles facing parents who want to legally establish access to their child. Our shared belief is that a parent should not have to choose to give up on the legal process because of a lack of access to resources and expensive legal costs.
Inspired by the mission of Our Children Have Rights.Org, Parent Legal AID Assistance funding will help relieve some of the financial burden faced by parents, therefore allowing them to better focus on their desired outcome with the court.
The Parent Legal AID Assistance Grant was established by Our Children Have Rights.Org, in partnership with generous donors and founding partners.
